Upon arrival at its entrance, hop aboard a horse-drawn carriage and explore the ancient complex. Pass by historic temples of Wat Phraya Meng Rai, Wat Kan Thom and Koo Paa Dom. Marvel at the architectural grandeur of the five-tiered Wat Chedi Liam, showing a strong Mon Haripunchai influence.
Next, visit the historic Wat Chiang Man temple, the first temple built in Chiang Mai. Admire the its astounding architecture, art, devotional Buddha statues and sculptures. Go inside the main wihan (monastery) and see relics and artefacts from the extinct Lanna Kingdom.
